First Game Jam- Blood Moon

2023

“What did you learn about yourself during the Game Jam that you couldn’t have learned on your own?”

This contest taught me the importance of time management and organization when working on a project. Unlike previous games I had made, this game had a deadline. This meant I had to plamn everything out ahead of time, something I did not efficiently do at first. By the end of the contest, my game felt very rushed and unpolished, however I learned from this experience for the future. I now understand the importance of both physical and mental organization, which I carried with me into the following game competition.

What this says about me is that I truly enjoy making games, and I strive to learn from past experiences.
