How it started

Summer 2025

Recently, I took a leap of faith and applied to a 3 week study abroad program in Kyoto, Japan and was accepted! I am very excited to have been given this opportunity, but I’m honestly a bit nervous about the trip as well. While this does sound very fun and exciting, being in a new, unusual place all alone is intimidating. I have never travelled alone away from my family, let alone on the other side of the world, but I believe I am up for the challenge.

How it ‘s going

Continuing making games, selling my artwork as merch, and creating small pop-up shops where people can customize what I make.

About Me

I am Truman Lewis Cho- TLC, a junior at Brooklyn Tech High School in New York. My main interests lie in art/design and game development.

I’ve been creating since I was five — my projects started as cardboard builds and now live as playable games and real products.

I am interested in using technology to create innovative solutions and hope to continue growing my  skills in game development and graphic design while exploring new opportunities to make an impact both personally and professionally. I've always been interested in video games and technology, but I’ve found I am more interested in how the games work rather than just playing them for fun. Since elementary school, I’ve been teaching myself coding and making my own small scale video games.

All started with a comic book I bought for $1 from a kid at the park.

My journey

Cardboard nintendo consoles to my first game on an actual cartridge!
