DIY Nintendo Consoles- cardboard
2017-2018
As a kid I wanted a nintendo 3ds more than anything in the world, so much so that I decided to make my own. I remember realizing the design for the craft in my head while walking down the street. I would sandwhich three pieces of cardboard together cutting out a notch in the middle piece to make an open slot for the cartridge. I felt like a genius at that moment. Guided by my directions, my mom would use the hot glue gun and exacto-knife to put together my design. I wanted a video game so bad that I made my own out of scraps, throughout the process, I learned a lot about design and creativity. I got used to being capable of realizing my ideas.
