Early Game Dev

Before I knew how to code, I would make up games using crafts and toys. I made roleplaying games, board games, card games, and anything else I could think of. Alot of the game were based off of games I couldnt play or didnt have, as well as things that I liked that I wanted to recreate. I got used to thinking about how things worked rather than what things are, and I grew an urge over time to create rather than consume. Making these kinds of games without technology taught me alot of the difference between game design and development. I would focus more about making a game fun rather than making it functional or visually appealing.
